How do we establish a Biblical worldview?

Chapel

Our desire is to help you raise your child to love Christ and live for Him, according to the Word of God. One of the vehicles we use to accomplish this desire is a weekly chapel which is held every Wednesday. During our chapel service we sing worship songs, pray, and have a Biblical message that the students can apply to their life. One chapel service is for grades K-4 and our other chapel service is for grades 5-8. Parents and grandparents are always welcome to attend our weekly chapel.

Scripture

In Matthew 4:4 Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” We understand the importance for individuals to think God’s thoughts so he/she can demonstrate their love for Christ by obeying Him. Therefore, we have weekly Scripture memorization so we can hide God’s Word in our hearts and obey him when we make daily decisions. We also have a Bible class each day that stresses both Biblical doctrine and application.  This class is designed to build up our students’ faith and commitment to Christ. God’s Word tells us that “without Faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6) and that “faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

Prayer

The Scriptures teach us to pray to our Heavenly Father and to commit our worries, concerns, needs and petitions to Him. One of the great blessings of Christian School is that teachers and students pray together daily about the concerns of their heart. In Luke 18:1 Jesus taught His disciples to always pray and not lose heart.
